Help! I am having problems, and am not getting a very good response from Microsoft. (None as a matter of fact!)

My Windows Defender has not updated definitions since 06/28, and keeps popping up that I need to update definitions.

The problem is that this #### Data Execution Prevention thing that is on this computer, that came with the computer, is not allowing even Microsoft updates to download! And I do not know how to get around it!

Does anyone else know what to do, or how to get around this?

Yeah, windows defender is a joke. It does much of nothing. I use Comodo anti-virus and firewall. Just google it, it's free. You do want to have Microsoft firewall turned on. It stops ICMP packets being sent to your computer, which is a hackers entry to your system.

    GuysLady Thanks this.
