I leased with them for about 9 months then I got my own truck. The 375 sounds good until the maintenance starts hitting for all the miles you ran plus the up charge. 15cpm all miles including dead head so you do the math and you will have to dead head. I had over 10k in the Maintanace when I returned the truck and they kept every single penny. It’s a whole lot better with your own truck plus all the maintenance money is your money. If you have no other options, lease the truck until you can secure your own.

The .15 a mile is for EVERY mile the truck moves ,loaded, empty, non dispatched going to the store etc.. So if the truck moves 3000 miles that is 3000x.15=$450 plus the weekly $375
375+450= $825 for that weeks payment. Plus fuel and whatever charges they have.Bean Jr. Thanks this. -
I would think that the average of $1.70 to $2 is a necessity for tye Truck lease payments and earning a reasonable wage for profit. Anything less then that you're just breaking even at best.
-
Plus the maintenance cost per mile is hit with an additional 18% up charge for the miles driven. And you pay everything IFTA,Insurances,OCC/ACC,Tolls,Permits,...
But good discounts on parts and fuel.Bean Jr. Thanks this. -
WOOO . Then what's the .15 per mile for?
.15 for maintaince PLUS another 18%
So basically its .33 a mile for maint?jacolbyhud Thanks this. -
Lease is very expensive, it’s alot better running with your own truck. They make it sound like the lease is cheap with that 375 weekly truck payment. I have no complaints about malone bt that lease is some bs
-
No, it's $0.15 per mile, but they calculate 18% more miles than you ran. So if you have a 500 mile trip, they'll charge $0.15 for 590 miles.jacolbyhud Thanks this.
-
Well that's better than I thought you meant. But still sucks, what's that all about. Thought they just took the actual mileage from the Qualcomm eld. Then charged accordingly.

Sounds like a class action suit is in their future........

It’s crazy man guys get two months away from paying the truck off and they end up starting the lease over or leaving malone over a breakdown crst refused to fix. The drivers have over 20k in that so called account and can’t even get the dang truck fix.Last edited: Oct 27, 2019
