I told you what I think an emergency fund is for you. You can agree that you maybe should've budgeted a little better or disagree and think that what you used it for was an emergency.

I’m glad to hear some good news, Been there a couple times, Once, a blown engine, then an accident 6 mo. Later. It makes You wonder, Now 11 yrs without any disasters. The Law of averages doesn’t always apply in Trucking. Sometimes a bunch of stuff happens all at once. Then it’s a race against time and money. Hope new Truck works out good. Rooting for you, in The D.

    if you have Cummins engine.
I would open the valve cover to see if there is a broken part that prevent engine turning. if every thing is ok there then the problem is the bottom of engine(bad bearing most likely). I would sell it. fixing CM2250 engine is expensive when it's locked up due to spun bearing. Don't spend money for second opinion from another shop if you have spun crank bearing

I was involved in a situation somewhat like yours. Depending on your credit, Kabbage and Lendingclub should be considered. That line of credit with Kabbage and the loan from Lending club helped me stay afloat and get through it.
