I have a 1999 Volvo with a N14 I left the hood open couple days went to start it it turn over but wouldnt fire up even with ether. I changed starter cause it burnt out an engine harness. Was saying data link broken the first couple times now its giving me barometric pressure shorted low an high an also intake manifold pressure shortens low an high. It also keeps blowing grounding fuse to ECM ever time I try starting truck. It did this before all this also but would never kno when cause I could check it an it would be fine for a couple trips then check it again an its blown. But now its doin it everytime i start truck. Someone please help I've checked every ground running from cab to frame an everything seems to be fine with .1 ohms even when I play with harness.
Please help thanks

The first thing to check is the battery connections, then main ground cable and starter ground cable. On my truck the reason for constantly blowed Ecm fuse was the bad main ground cable. Even though it looked alright, it went bad from being old
Bakerman Thanks this. -
I brand new cables running from battery to starter
-
Check the fuel pump solenoid that’s mounted under the air compressor or the crank position sensor.
Bakerman Thanks this. -
Its getting voltage an turns test light on when u turn key
-
An I've replaced crank position sensor with new one an whole sensor/actuator harness n still nothing
-
Is the big black negative cable also new?
-
Yes both cables were replaced with gauge bigger
-
Even tested all grounds from block to where they run too an get .1/.2 ohms in each nothing more
-
And the power cable to the ecm is good? Good continuity? 12v going to the ecm?
