Thank you, Chinatown. I've seen Lessors, Freymiller, and Tribe trucks when I was OTR, but never talked to any of their drivers. I've never heard of either Danny Herman or South East.
If you had to "rank" these companies (in terms of treating drivers fairly [which I always was at Prime, I will say that], forced dispatch, pay rates, and maybe one or two other things I'm not thinking of at the moment), how would you?
Also, do you know anything about any good outfits that run in Canada? -
Maybe, Britton Transport runs Canada. @MrEd will know.
I think Celadon www.driveceladon.com sometimes runs Canada.
Both Danny Herman and South East run California often. -
Oregon and Washington yes, Cali is a no.Chinatown Thanks this.

Magnum sounds interesting, I looked at their site. Not a big fan of Cali, though I like the Pac NW...truck parking around Seattle is a bear, though.
-
I've seen Danny Herman picking up regularly in the Gastonia ,NC area. heading out west. Tx .I think.
-
Magnum doesnt run Cali or the southwest states. They also don't run the north east states or Canada. They do operate nice equipment, good pay, leave you alone, great home time, etc.
-
Yes, Britton does run into Canada. The van/reefer trucks go up there more than us flatbed guys. But I have been to Delta, BC and Regina, SK in the last 6 months.
-
Have you driven for Magnum? Do you know this from first-hand experience?JForce28 Thanks this.

I've run reefer, which was okay, except for some delivery times at like 3am. Do you (or anyone) know how delivery times are with dry van loads?
