Where is everyone #5

Rode around in the passenger seat this morning. Getting our new guy refreshed on driving, found out that I'm pretty #### at helping someone get the shifting rust knocked off.

Have a hard time explaining stuff that I don't have to think about when I'm doing it.

 

Is it the hand or the foot work?

 

Little of both. He hasn't driven in a few years, so his downshifts are clumsy. He's just having to reprogram his brain into the whole road speed and rpm thing. An element of it is getting frustrated that he's shifting like a rookie again so he's letting get in his head.

 

This is how my dad programed my brain when I started driving......he would smack me in the arm if I screwed up....i learned to NOT screw up fearing the smack was a coming !! LOL

 

I had to sign some papers today and this lady called me and said she was bringing them to me and could I give her directions. I did, and very explicit ones at that even down to the miles per road. Ten minutes later she called and verified. Ten minutes after that she called and didn't know where she was, and the heck of it was, I didn't either. Five minutes later she called and gave me a highway number. I had no clue at that point how she got there, but told her what to do and where to go and that I would meet her there and she could follow me back to the house. She had dark tint on her windows so I pulled up beside her I waved at her to follow me which she did. Got to the house and she opened her door and out steps a bbbeeeaaaauuuutttiiiffffuuullll Mexican lady about early to mid fifties. I would have tracked her down in upstate New York if I would have had to. My impure thoughts were running wild and I was trying to figure out how to tell her I was really a multi millionaire that drove a truck for write-offs, and furthermore was hung like a government jack if that was important. To be honest, I would have been perfectly content just to get a quick snapshot of her bare cooch. Not beneath me to compromise. But, sadly, at the end all I got was a handshake, nice to have meant you, and a good bye. That's how my day is going.

 

So much fun playing with the DOT.

You went to that school too? In a pitch black cab had gotten a few back hands for not double clutching. Thought I could slip one by him. His truck, His rules. I still double clutch.

 

Might be fun but I bet not cheap if she needs that much for the day
