I went and bought candy for Halloween this year.
Then I got a run yesterday. Didn't get back till 10PM. .... DOH!

What am I going to do with all this candy?

I already am. Almost died from diabetes, 15 years ago. Was causing weight loss. No treatment.
Since it did stop, obviously. Been treating with lifestyle. Done good. Been cheating lately with meatball sandwiches, doughnuts, ice cream, breakfast sandwiches and burritos. Well.... my A1C came up: 6.7. Not bad! Surprised. ... When OTR, clamped down on eating. Got it down to 5.9. I can do better.

The guys at the concrete plant want me to leave it at the load desk. So 'drivers' can take what they want. I know... the guy at the load desk will scarf down on it till it's all gone.

My father in law found out the same way. He was losing weight for no apparent reason then he started having dizzy spells.

That condition is mean. By the time it stopped with me. Left me a complete basket case. Had to rehabilitate myself completely.
From all I've done. All the heavy exercise and physical jobs, etc. ... The best thing I have found. May be the basis of why on diabetes? That is lack of minerals. I take Magnesium, other minerals, and lots of water. That is more effective than all the trying to eat right and exercise on the planet.

Pass the cider vinegar please. They look pretty good for truckstop fare.

    Get his blood pressure.

Slap on a automatic BP taker, those are like 30 bucks at walmart. Anything above 100/60 is considered stable. ANY numbers below that is a potential ER crisis that needs to be looked at right away. Anything over say 150 by 100 is the same way, but stroke territory.

Those little home testers are good for 10+ or - Ive been running 125 over 76 give or take 10 which is normal finally.

Back that tester up with a pulse ox. As long you are 95% or better on room air then it's well. If you are say 88% take him to the ER immediately, he needs 2 to 10 liters by mask for a few minutes to get above 95% before braindamage and coma progresses downwards to death. Many people can climb a mountain or fly down to about 70% temporarily without too much trouble if they are healthy and fit. But for those of us who are sick anything below 90% they aint feeling or functioning too good. if at all. Really important to slap that oxy into him before the heart stops after it starved enough. You aint restarting that one.

Two ideas for no apparent reason weight loss.

Parasite in system (Plural) or cancer related blockage which will show up in due time as something else. A third problem is necrosis in intestines due to bad blood supply. If you have that, you are finished unless surgeons can chop out the bad sections and reconnect the good plus bypassing blocked blood areas.

So it got down to 29 here last night/early this morning. Truck fired up with no issue, but once I hooked upto my trailer and rolled out, I found out the fuel in my filters gelled up. Made it upto Lowes and bought a small propane torch and warmed the filters up. Got back out on I10 and it still wouldn't build more than 15lbs of boost and couldn't get out of its own way. I didnt even make it 30mi before I called my dispatcher and she said to call and reschedule for Mon. Because they didnt have anything to get me back south for the weekend either.

Gonna grab some new filters tomorrow and swap them out.
