I’m referring to the filters for preventative maintenance. Is NAPA a good place? Online? I have a DD15 engine that uses two fuel filters, one fuel water separator filter, and one oil filter.

Wix makes Napa filters. My Napa dealer does a half price sale twice a year. Then they sell them for the same price as my Wix distributors everyday price.
One truck dealer sells red ones, yellow ones and Paccar filters. They are a bit higher but give excellent service.
Another dealer is totally off the chain and only buy their filters as a last resort.
Then the one with Alliance and Luberfiner. Their prices and service are good.
What brand to use can cause enough discussion by itself but I have good results with Wix filters.
Try to use manufacture band filters on engines under warranty. Is a few dollars worth a warranty argument?
    You have to check around.
When you buy filters from a large local distributor they are often shipped by the case. That case is on a pallet with a lot of other cases. Damage is unlikely.
Those individual mail order filters are often hand tossed around a lot.

I've had good luck with rock auto

It helps to know a few interchange part numbers to find what you want. I think the last fuel filters I got were $5 a pop. They were on closeout because they are labeled for someone else

When it comes to filters, I'd stick with OEM. There are a lot of cheaply made aftermarket stuff out on the market. Personally I'm a bit hesitant to use anything other than OE or stuff with a good rep like Donaldson or Fleetguard.

Check prices at different dealers. I find Stoops Freightliner with an account set up, is good. and Empire Freightliner, also for oil filters. Oil, I hate to admit, Walmart, catch a rollback often, Lol. $12? For Delvac. Oreillys has a $6.00 or so rebate on Delvac, every so often. Limit 10 or 12 Maybe? I’ve sent a few rebate checks to my kids house. Lol. Can’t beat the Oreillys deal.Under $10 a gal. Currently have a chance at 55 gal drum Texaco 40w for $100. I’ll pass though, wrong viscosity.

My local repair shop or truck parts house is normally a couple bucks less per filter than I can get them online. Oil and coolant I have found that Walmart.com is generally the cheapest and they deliver it to the house for free in a couple days. Usually the store is the same price, but I buy several cases at a time so I may as well have them deliver it to the house for me. Amazon is cheap on certain filters but some filters can be bought for less locally. Just google your filter numbers and you will see a list of prices and what shipping costs are also if you buy a several at a time.

PE , Do you have all your tools yet and a Place to work on it? (We had a discussion with you about this a month or so ago).....

Buy your Oil in 55 gallon Drum- Buy 4 at a time You'll save Hundreds of dollars, Same with All your Filters, Buy em by the Dozen.....Keep your Shop/Yard Organized, If you Dont Have Inside Space But you park in a yard somewhere- Buy yourself a 40' retired Container for $1400...or Minimum 20 footer And Build it out inside to suit- Thats What I did before.....

Organize all your Tools and Supplies neatly inside. After That- Time to get to work
