We solder wire ends before installing plugs as well. The solder runs down the wire a bit inside the insulation and seems to help prevent corrosion from chasing down inside the insulation. Add a touch of dielectric and problems are reduced.

The screw was loose because the wire broke, the screw is kept tight against the wire if it breaks the screw loosens.

Things must be goin pretty good in our lives if we've got this much time to fuss over a trailer plug. Maybe north america still aint so bad after all.

Works great on valve stem oring/gasket. Lubes for installation and protects from corrosion on aluminum rims.

I'd rather talk about a trailer plug honestly.....

“For the want of a nail the shoe was lost,
For the want of a shoe the horse was lost,
For the want of a horse the rider was lost,
For the want of a rider the battle was lost,
For the want of a battle the kingdom was lost,
And all for the want of a horseshoe-nail.”
