Meeting a recruiter on Monday- Comming to our class. What to wear?

    I'm wondering what I should wear on monday when we meet the recruiter coming in?

    I have the following for everyday class dress wear:

    Jeans and a T Shirt plus loafers for when not driving a truck (yes I have boots but like to air my feet out while I'm not driving the truck.. Heck I love boots! )

    What I think I should wear looks something like this:

    Shirt:

    The slacks would look like this:

    My thing is I don't want to be too flashy but I don't want to look like a slob for the recruiter coming to school.

    Also for hair my hair I spike it for my wife but dont in class. I think it looks messy unspiked though. I've been called a girl by some redneck ####### (he didn't know I am from hillybilly cent. here in IL and I could have a hillybilly contest with his northern born ### and win! LOL)

    heck I don't know. Bubba would probably get recruited. The recruiter makes money getting people in the door. The hiring party during the interview at the co is the one you want to look presentable too.

    I would wear whatever you wear to class. These guys know you are in class and are just putting out info. They will not be hiring like you would think at any of employer show.

    Recruiters are just there to give you their shpeil, not really interview/hire. But, at any rate, you just need to be clean and dress like an adult, not one of these 16 year old high school homeys wearing baggy pants.:biggrin_25526:

    I was going to reccommend clean shorts as the recruiter's main job is to inject sunshine into your nether regions. It gives rookies that light floaty feeling where they feel like they are special and respected and whatnot...


    ....until they realize their on the receiving end of buttsex by KingKong.

    when the recruiters came to the school i went to, they came during the classroom session. most of us were wearing jeans, etc. tuxedos aren't quite the thing during the day lol. we didn't look like slobs and we were neat. you'll do fine. just be sure to ask intelligent questions.

    I always dressed for the job...for me that has been flat bedding.

    Clean clothes suitable to go to work in right that minute with no worries about them getting dirty.

    Camo ball cap
    Dickies work pants
    A t-shirt (not the one that says "is it Friday yet" and has a picture of a guy with his arse dragging the ground)
    Good work boots
