Anyone familiar with this company? Are they reputable? Do they do good work? They rebuild wrecked trucks. Should I even consider buying a truck that was wrecked??

Stay away from buying a wrecked/repaired truck. There is no warranty and for sure, a problem will arise down the road. :biggrin_25516:

So you are saying every wrecked truck should go to the junk yard?

Why buy a wrecked truck when there are killer deals to be made on great used trucks right now.

You say they re-build wrecked trucks. Yes, wrecked trucks should go to the junk yard. A wrecked truck is,in essence, a truck that has been totaled out by the insurance company, and then, has been bought by a fixer company and supposedly repaired. If it was just minor damage and repairable, it would be getting repaired at a body shop, not a company that re-builds wrecked trucks. Just my opinion, do what you want, but I'm sure you're looking at what a wonderful deal you think you're getting. :biggrin_255:

depends on how bad the truck was wrecked. Some have been rebuilt and shouldn't have. Others may just had some cosmetic damage and needed a hood and a fuel tank. The only way I'd buy a repaired truck is if I could see pics of it before. But as others have said with all the deals out there anything rebuilt would be a last resort right now.

Cosmetic damage can be massive on a modern truck without impairing drivability. Those trucks get totalled whether they're roadworthy or not, simply because they cost more to fix than to replace.

Buying a wrecked truck is a gamble. You can get lucky, but do you want to count on luck? I'd suggest having at least one independent shop check it over -- thoroughly. Dyno and alignment check would be a good idea also.

We had a guy leased on with us that bought a repaired truck. Looked nice but it was put together out of like 4 other trucks. It was a LONG 379 so all he looked at was the shiny stuff. Until a long list of electrical problems, occasionally it would run out of fuel because it would return all the fuel to the passenger side tank and never level out so the drivers side tank would be empty. When it was being repaired it sat without a hood for like a month so the fan clutch rusted and came apart and ate the radiator. Just annoying stuff makes it not worth it. I like new, sure they have a big payment but I don't have to play mechanic every weekend.
