THV 11 reported that two teenagers one from LR and another out of Texas were killed after they were pulled over in the center median on I-30 in Byrant about the 123 mm exit. Its a seriously BUSY section. Incredibly tough in traffic and tons of trucks etc.

Anyway despite our move over law that requires everyone to GTFO away from any police, Highway or fire running lights on the shoulder or center median to the opposite lane Fed ex comes along dings the lawman a little bit, smashes the car with the kids inside killing them and essentially totaling his rig and load after. The car with kids were pulled over for some sort of vehicle defect like no tail lights or something by a task force officer trained and hunting drunks, DUI etc.

without further ado I leave you with this video which is self explanatory.

Seems like FedEx is always in the hammer lane going 65.1 mph so he can pass those 65 mph trucks.

Once again, FXGround. Not to be confused with FXFreight and FXExpress, who have actual employees instead of 'subsubsubcontractors which limit any liability on the boss' part.'

    Ok I'll own that one.

Always a fed something wrecking in stupid situations like that. Nice wide highway a mile to and from in visibility. And boom dead kids.

I swear truckers are getting more dangerous by the week.

We have the same crap up here in Canada with companies hiring junk contractors to move their freight unsafely down the road . Meanwhile they brag about how safe the company is .. If the company subbing the freight to junk contractors got dinged a bit when they mess up it might change things for the better ..

Thing i dont get is it happened before 4:30a.m. So there wasnt a ton of traffic yet. Also it happened in a 3 lane where trucks are not allowed in the far left lane next to the concrete median and divider wall which is a good 10ft to the left of the white line. Driver negligence is all i can come up with.

    I agree.

And you are right about the traffic situation for time of day and so forth.

It breaks my heart. These are still children for cripes...

Ive seen troopers pull over trucks and 4 wheelers in some dangerous areas on highways and interstates. Not a good practice.
