I got a pretty good deal on another truck!

So...I'm sittin' here the other day minding my own business when a buddy of mine calls and says " You want a good deal on another truck?" That statement is usually followed by a line of B.S. but I went ahead and went over to look at it and this is what I found...

A 2001 Pete large car with a 475 Cat with about 100,00 on an inframe. The truck was stolen and they took the wheels and tires and the transmission! The cab and sleeper are in mint condition inside and out and the rest of it is in ship shape as well. I have a set of new aluminum wheels and Bridgestones in the shed and I have an 18 speed sittin' on the floor of the shop that I bought out of a wreck.

So I said "How much" and 5 minutes later I bought the whole thing for $3,000!

I figure to have it on the road in about ten days and it'll make one of the drivers very happy.

I've probably got enough parts around here to build a couple of trucks if I needed to. I know I have a complete Pete 359 out there but I would have to put it together. I don't really like Petes all that much so naturally I have 10,000,000 parts for them laying around.

Of course, If I need a KW part I have to go to the dealer or a wrecking yard to buy it...

 

I thought so too...That's why I got it. Some deals you just can't pass up!
