Superior Carriers & Henniff

Ok cool thanks. Week in a half ago I called the terminal and was told I’ll get a call back some time next week. If I don’t hear nothing I’ll probably call back again. Yea Newport News to Niagara Falls ny would be a nice little run

 

I’m a driver trainer out of Pasadena, my understanding is we are not hiring any students until after the 1st of the year. I would still put in my app and see what happens

 

I heard the information through a friend. An ops manager for a mid sized tanker outfit is friends with someone in upper management at schneider and that's where the info I got came from. I'm not naming names, but he's the same source I heard about Heniff/miller deal.

Yep, my app is in and I've exchanged e-mails and had a phone call w/ the TM. He just said to get back to him after I have completed CDL school and have my license, completion certificate and transcript I can show. We're supposed to start testing for our license at the end of this month but our last day of school is Dec 13 so that's when we'll get our certificate and presumably our transcript will be available the following week. So if there isn't going to be any hiring until after the first of the year it's not a big wait although I would like to get started asap!

 

Superior carriers and Heniff were just bought out, at least that's what my husband who works for superior was just told, not sure if an investment company bought them out or what, just trying to see what information is out here so far. I was told that Heniff will take the Superior name, but not much more. Anyway... hope someone has more news
