Not sure whats going on but every time the outside temp drops below 45 or around there, the Jake Brake stops working and so does Cruise Control.
Any idea what is going on? I checked the sensor by the brake pedal and everything seems good.

There is also a switch on the clutch pedal too. If you have a clutch pedal that is.

So she is a wee bit cold.
You will be fine. Just manage what is left to you as you drive. -

Its not much. Sometimes when a truck is cold... half the stuff don't work well. I used to have a truck that needed about 20 miles before everything warmed up and became available. It was a very good truck, they sold that one out from under me. But when she is cold... well no fun tonight for sure. You might have to wait a while. //teasing.
I don't know of any repair prodecudre for being too cold other than spend time in a shop warmed by a wood stove a while. Sometimes pulling a semi tractor into such a shop for a few hours helps with the diagnosis. -
Possible its programmed to do that?

Oddly enough it has nothing to do with the truck temperature itself. It has only to do with ambient temperature. Same happen last year during winter, lost engine brake and cruise which i'm sure are interconnected somehowx1Heavy Thanks this.
