    My Daddy use to make me carry a cattle prod when I was in my teens and took the car. He said it would be handy if some guy got grabby. LOL:yes2557:

    The reason I "assumed" trucking companies put their guys up in motels is because when I used to work for a large motel driving shuttle van, I always had to go around to the SAIA and JB Hunt terminals in the evening picking up drivers on dedicated runs. There was no sleeping in the truck for those guys. They had an air-conditioned room and a pool every night when they pulled in.
