    The real issue that I’m concerned with is Uber/Lyft. I like my cheap rides to the bar when i visit Cali

    It’s not just lease purchase. It’s anyone paid on a 1099. You won’t be able to own your truck and lease onto another’s authority in CA now. Think Landstar and Mercer for example. That business model is gone for CA residents.
