I’ve got the lines connected properly, I get a sharp clang almost like a bell when I hammer the drums.

Who knows, but it doesn't matter if he can't get that landing gear broke loose. lol
Although, since he now has pressure from the truck bags on it, some more from the trailer bags sure wouldn't be a bad thing.gentleroger and Mike2633 Thank this. -

When trailers sit with no glad hands hooked up. It's a common scenario for moisture to get in the lines and freeze up.
Example
Local dirt haulers don't always have their pup trailers hooked up. Sometimes they gotta fight the trailer not airing up.Mike2633 and Dave_in_AZ Thank this. -
We run sniffers on all our trucks, so it is a rare deal to hook up to a trailer with the air frozen, but landing gear and drums are extremely common, so far I have never ran across one that I couldn't break loose though.
