loosing my mind

    ok guys so 02 century there when breaking loud noise from where you connect trailer my red and yellow valves were also making some noise from time to time I bought the little rebuild kit for the dash valves installed everhing now the red valve wont stay in and while truck is building air loud air leak from red valve happening and wont stay in any idea

    Hooked up wrong or you have a major air leak somewhere .. get someone to try and push button while your outside to see where the air leak is.. use wheel chocks or leave tractor brakes set so it doesn’t move while your searching for air loss..PS make sure the button isn’t screwed on too tight that will prevent it from going all the way in

    I double checked my lines many times I know they were connected good before I did the little o rings rebuild thing the valve would stay in no problem after nothing would it be that it is too tight

    Try spinning the red knob to back it off and see if it stays engaged .. I had chrome knobs one time and turned them to have writing the proper way and button wouldn’t stay engaged
