How much over idle were you?

Its sucks that they charge the driver.....to me its either put APU's on the truck or let the driver idle!

 

they did'nt say how much over idle i was, my dm said if i had a problem with it to just lease a truck. I tried calling cole t all after noon to try and explain why it is so high and to change dm's because mine is horrible and all i got was voicemail. I swear they are trying to get me to quit because i wont lease.

 

Keep trying to get Cole and explain why the idle is so high! Let him know it wouldn't be so high if your FM would keep you moving.

 

Sounds like the dm is Joe S. and yes he su*ks big time. Could care less about the drivers in his fleet...Sounds like Cole has been brainwashed
by the "SWIFT COMPANY TRAINING PROGRAM".

 

I do agree with Youngblood......They are trying to push the newer drivers into leasing there Pro-stars and that sucks!

By telling them they will get more miles and have more freedom leasing.

My advice do not lease if you aren't getting miles as a company driver.

when i was in school. there were no regulations for getting all endorsements. 2 years ago when i renewed my license i was told $100, birth cert. and TSA clearance. so i didn't renew the hazmat. so now, i had to retest last week and am waiting for TSA which takes 30 days.

the reason i asked was becuase i haven't seen one person mention anything about birth cert or tsa on these threads. if tsa takes 30 days, i was just wondering how the school goes about the procedure, or are they not doing the endorsement. since most schools are 2 weeks and then your with a trainer.

 

no the card is not the endorssement, and no they dont do hazmat you have to get it on your own if you want it
