I guess if you throw someone in the snake pit they will find a way to survive. It just seems weird you hear about all the megas doing the same thing but on flat straight routes no weather and they cant seem to keep from having mishaps and the never ending stories from drivers about how bad they are to work for. May just seems to have it figured out.

For now they have figured out how to.keep the pay down for drivers while charging higher rates to shippers ( like they all do in the winter) and keep their freight moving. Not sure how much longer this will last though in a more competitive environment with all of their drivers being lured away for more money..Their possible next step...bring on the foreigners

Do you still drive for May?

I always notice their equipment which is typically new and in good shape.

Their equipment is awesome! Maintenance program is pretty good with truck and trailer.

If.your new and looking for experience you really cant go wrong.with May. Equipment is good, shops are good, friendly mechanics and office people, OTR support improved since they got rid of some.of those rude people. Unless you are going to train after a year or so.I would head on out the door, low pay is the real issue there but as I said they are great for experience, you will get true OTR driving.
