1. Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.

I am about to give up!

Still no hope of a driving job in my future, every month when I pay $150.00 for my student loan for CDL school I feel like driving to Werner Corp offices and smashing some heads in!

Did you go look at craigslist? I just looked in different parts of Florida & saw many of want adds for CDL drivers. It doesn't hurt to continue calling.

Hey there, I'm getting ready to start class with MCT Aug 3rd. I was supposed to be in the previous class that just ended, however I needed to prove that I no longer had an apnea problem, which I did w/ a sleep study test...So $2,500 later..... Anyways I'm not assigned to anyone as of right now...a little worried about it. I have sales and marketing background for the past 9 years along with 3 years with the Army...25th I.D. -Geno

I haven't read through all 46 pages of this thread, so I don't know all of the trucking companies you have been to, nor any that have been suggested. So, if you've already heard what I'm about to suggest, I appologize.

Have you tried your local soda delivery companies, or beer distributors?
Had a beer rep' tell me one time, if I would get a cdl, he'd put me to work.
Every company is different, some may want experience. But, have you checked with them?

I know a driver who has switched jobs with a child support issue.
    But, they still hire him.

Good luck to you, hope something pops up soon.
