Wow! First post & to me it looks like you didn't even read all the other posts. I read on many different peoples posts that say they #### up also. Mistakes happen, everyone makes them. Including me. The reason why Swift gets picked on is because of their size, reputation, and the mistakes those driver's make are quite noticeable. Don't worry though! Schneider, JB, US Express, and all the other ones get the #### also.

Ok, heres a swift move: I was driving on I-65 in Indiana, and swifty was sitting on the side of the freeway, and he had apparently just run a car off the highway...into one of the deepest ditches i have ever seen. Car and truck both looked undamaged but was about 30 feet down in a ditch. I didn't actually witness the accident, it mustve happened less than 10 minutes before I got there, though. The drivers were talking...I can only imagine what they were saying. I bet it was like

4 wheeler: YOU ##### IDIOT! WHAT THE F WERE YOU THINKING?
    Swifty: I wasn't.
4 wheeler: THATS RIGHT BUDDY! HOW BOUT I GET OUT MY JACK?

    ...hehehehehe....

oh and i was working for CRST...Crash N Roll Stunt Trucking....infact....I have a pic of the truck I drove, in my driveway, that i photoshopped to actually put that on the door. :D ...but CRST drivers are worse than swifty!

I couldn't believe my eyes the other day, nevermind yes I could. Had a Swift driver drafting off the rear deck of a car on the interstate directly beside me. Then Swifty comes over and starts drafting me, he'd made Earnhardt smile from the grave with his precision moves. When I stop him, his statements. "Well that car slowed down, then I was trying to get around him. That's why I was behind you."

Yeah. Nice move partner. Thank God he didn't cause the big one on the interstate before I stopped him.

Oddly enough the ones I see drafting, other trucks as well as 4 wheelers, most often are PACCAR drivers with enough chrome to have supplied every Detroit builder in 1957, and enough lights to rival O'Hare.

The "dumbest" thing I've ever done behind the wheel of a truck was in response to one of these cowboys who tried pushing my Deckset of brand new Marmons up the road one night. Was the most fun too... at least till he finally got frustrated enough to pull into a pickle park while SCREAMING for me to stop so he could beat my #####. :biggrin_255:

Im a Swifty, I'll tell you my Swift move, not so much my fault strickly speaking but funny.

I fell asleep in a dirt lot with an empty trailer, and it rained over night, there were some other trucks, but no one had the courtesy to so much as beep the horn and wake me up(some people suck)

There was 1/8 inch layer of mud that I couldnt get any traction on, so I pulled the ABS/ traction control fuses, locked the rear diff and threw it in 4th and floored it, took me about 10 minutes to move the 100 feet on to the pavement :) really muddied up the truck, and you should have seen the mess I left on the road!

Last swift move I saw was a driver running down the rumble strip as I was walking back to my truck in the rest area off I-70. Don't remember what state, Indiana maybe, it was about midnight. I pulled out and sure enough he was in the median all tangled up in the wires about two miles up the road.

How about this one? When I was in training at CRST, my trainer was an owner-operator....the truck was one that he originally leased from them, but he owned it in the clear now. So it looked like a company truck, except...it ran about 90mph. (04 international 9600i).....so, he was driving, he was getting ready to get on the freeway, and this o/o flatbedder buzzes right past him and flies onto the on-ramp. He was PISSED. He gets on the highway, he's like "IM GONNA SHOW HIM WHAT THE BACK OF A TRAILER LOOKS LIKE!" ...so he gets on, and tries to pass him...next thing you know, we're both topped out at 90, so the flatbedder just slams his brakes and merges into the right lane. LOL.

Imagine if a cop saw THAT.
