    us military trucks have over 500 hp which is quite common considering what loads and trailers or equipment we are pulling.

    I wonder if Joan Claybrook and the folks at CRASH would feel about that truck on our highways!
    Of course, if the ATA had their way, we would all have 6 trailers and run 3 drivers running team, splitting .33 cpm!

    Imagine what DOT would say if u pulled in to a coop with that....I guarantee no inspection would be done....it would take a month lol

    The Road Trains (first pics) cross the Austrailian Outback and are in regular service, there is plenty of record breakers but the bigest only made it 5 miles

    They had a couple of these can't remeberif they were Aussie KW's or Macks # the Newmont Gold mine nr Elko NV, these had twin engines and were tried to reduce costs over running 375ton haul trucks, It did not work these Aussie road trains in mine conditions were unreliable and abandoned after a 2yr trial.

    I thought that those mining RT's must have pusher engine on trailer for such a weights....
