Can someone call ACORN!!! I want to register to vote 500 times in Virginia via absentee ballet.
Parking is hard enough in Virginia & I doubt that the 225 legal parking spots that they created are very good. I've never been able to even find a illegal parking spot that I could fit into at one of their rest areas... And the one time I felt that I was to tired to drive... So I parked on a exit ramp cost me $180.00 after being there 30 minute. #### trooper didn't want to hear that I was to tired to drive... He just kept saying that I should have continued down the highway... -
Truckers should protest, plan and semble, don't make deliveries to that state, not even baby milk then see what happens.

I noticed that a lot of the ones closed were outside of Richmond and D.C., where trucks need them the most. Just because you added parking spaces somewhere else to make up the difference, it doesnt mean they're in the area where they're needed.
GAPrincess Thanks this. -
Well...if Virginia don't want us parking there...lets just quit hauling their freight. I wouldn't haul it if I was an O/O...along with OH, IL, and CA.

That's true.
The addition of 225 spaces is nice; but I think the best part of this bill is allowing truckers to stop long enough to get their 10 hours in.
Too bad they couldn't have left the rest areas open and increase the time allowed to stop from 2-10 hours. That would have been a bigger help.
