Lol right?? Do u guys have otr drivers over there ? I never thought coke had otr trucks but i saw a sleeper truck headed westbound on i80 out of salt lake city when i was going thru there. He was hooked up to 2, 53fters

 

No, just line haul drivers like I used to be. There is a company called red classic transport which is a general freight otr company owned by coke, I know nothing about it and only ever seen one truck. There was a guy on here a while back that was going to work for them and it sounds like a pretty good gig. It was like 65cpm if I remember correctly.

First week here. Peoplenet only worke sporadically. New unit. Nobody checked the thing out!
Don’t get me going on this new software. It’s a joke. They even forgot to put in inspections. Ain’t important to FMCSA. They love their violation count. DOT wants to see inspections!
Thing is so screwed up. I had to go buy a ms based computer with Explorer(new name edge). Was just so I could go into their website to work on my logs. They couldn’t allow any other browser. I’ve got them all. Apple poor.
They finally got it mostly straightened out after a week. I came close to quitting. Not because it was not working. But because people started telling me it was my fault. I needed training. I got more experience with Peoplenet than they do. They just got this.
I ain’t putting up with the “dog chasing his tail” Midwest mentality. Ignoring people more and more. My Operations is ok. Driver manager is good. Have to talk to computer which is completely belligerent, anal, and stupid.
Everything logs is to make it difficult for me. Easy for the company. And God forbid you fart... it will automatically go on duty driving.
Then they lie and say they cant change on duty driving. They can. They just won’t.
A lot to put up with for a good driving job. The job itself is great.

Yea that sounds like it sucks..... exactly why I will never have to deal with it lol.
