I have a quick question for you, drivers....

My husband and I started a "notebook", of sorts, of good truck stops.

Some large, some small, but they all have good food, at decent prices.
Some of them we listed because maybe they had a nice sized, clean laundry, or any number of different reasons.

My question...if we were to "mass produce" such a booklet, would it be something you would be willing to purchase? (At a very reasonable cost, of course!)

    Thanks!

Most guys out here already know where they like to stop and there are free sites that list such areas.

Judi, if I may be so bold. In this day and age I would much prefer a GPS file full of useful POI files. These are fairly easy to build these days, and I think it would rock if you could start a thread asking for favorite truck stops, diners and otherwise truck friendly places to hideout, and them put them all into print.

My mom recently gave me the book from Guy Fieri, Diners, Drive-ins and Dives. I am having an absolute blast visiting all of the restaurants in that book.

But yeah, if you took the time to put together a paper book just for truckers, I will buy one from ya. Count me in :biggrin_25525:

I buy those little truck stop guides but they've become more and more inaccurate. I'd pay for a decent one. If you can note which ones take comdata and which ones don't, that'd help too.

    Great idea!
Now, mind, this is still in the making, it will be awhile before I get everything compiled. So far, we only have about 30 truck stops noted.

We started this last year, and I was curious if anyone(other than ourselves) would be interested in such a booklet.
As soon as we have it ready, I'll let ya'll know!

I also think that in there, I will say if there is a grocery or Wal-Mart nearby, and in which direction from the exit, as sometimes, you can't see them from the road, and don't know which way to turn to get there.
