    Are you asking about L.A. local work or intrastate work based in the L.A. area?

    If you have local contacts in that area you can do fairly well. A stranger coming in would starve before he learned what was going on.

    just basically wondering the
    “ins-and- outs” what people pay per hour etc.

    so if u dont know anybody in LA locally
    you cant get a job??

    I thought you were talking about hauling with your own truck. If all you want is a driving job there are plenty of those.

    It's not directly from Taxi Driver. I was calling Chinatown, and when I was typing, "Calling Travis" popped into my head. The actual line is "could any anybody prophesize these people? Only Travis. Come in Travis..."

    Know what that's from?
