Abilene Motor Express....A New Place To Call Home

Yeah. Hill has been ahead in their loading so they can take off. Although, over at plant 1, there’s a lot of partially loaded trls that aren’t ready. And, of course, they’re hollering for more mtys.

 

None of the fuel pumps at the Ontario Petro are working. This has made the fuel pumps at the Ontario TA (right across the street from the Ontario Petro) an exciting place to be.

 

Finished my reset at the Bosselman pilot in Grand Island NE 3am this morning and hit the road and got to Waterloo IA an hour and a half early, I tried to time it so I wouldn't be too early for my 1300 appt at this place to unload these bales of recycled plastic, but oh well. Waiting for them to call me to a dock. Hopefully the trailer doesn't smell too terrible, lol! Was nice to get laundry done as it is only 2$ a piece to wash and dry at that Bosselman's being everywhere else is 2.50 or more a piece. Only bad thing about that Bosselman's is they don't give you a towel to stand on to dry yourself off. Waiting to see where they send me next since not due in WA for time off til next week.

 

Well, trailer smells a hint of garbage and laundry soap from these recycled plastic bales, lol!

 

At least they were nice enough to throw kitty litter absorbent type stuff down so doesn't smell bad now. Found out my truck gps is down too and planners kept asking DM if I was empty....

 

I think they’re all wonky right now. Mine hardly ever works.

 

Sending me to Burlington IA to load tomorrow going Walmart in Gordonsville. Assuming they got a load on the yard or nearby to get me WA next week for hometime.....With the winter storm coming up here this week Ill prob need 7 days to get to WA, lol!

 

I hate when they tell me the wrong appt time....qcomm says 12pm appt and I get here 1130 and told my appt is at 1300 but they will try and work me in early if they can....

 

Ugh... drove hard to get as close to WM as possible last night... drove last two hours so I had 9 available... was hoping to grab another and roll... nope... got a FedEx pickup that I can’t get until 2:30am... so, after driving only two hours, have to take another 10... and guess who isn’t sleepy now because I slept until noon today??? Yup, me...
