It appears to be okay to post the link to Nalco. Here's the rule that pertains to this:
11.) Post any clickable or disabled reference to any other website in any post, if that link does not direct a viewer to a site or subject addressed in the post itself.
As we have, for some time, been trying to find the web address for Nalco (without success) and they are a tanker company that a number of OP's are very interested in attaining it appears well within the Forum posting rules. Please be sure that it is a Nalco website, not a job recruiting web site offering Nalco positions, for your own benefit. Thanks again.
Local fuel hauling jobs. Give it a try!!

I went to their web site. then click on Careers. Do a Job Search as an external candidate, choose N. America region, and search that way. That is how I found out about the opening here. Is that the same Nalco that has been mentioned in this thread? It doesn't mention pay or anything, but I was wondering....Last edited by a moderator: Jul 20, 2009
mje Thanks this. -
This advice is wrong, please do not post any company web sites, live or dead as links in this forum.
mje Thanks this. -
D'oh!!! ######, I knew better than to post the link....For future reference, just Google whatever company you are looking for. Anyway, I have applied to pull tanker as well as LTL. That is why I went and got all my endorsements.
Mail is great, but with the cutbacks, even the people with a lot of seniority are losing their jobs. So I am hoping a gas hauler or an LTL company will take me.mje and bullhaulerswife Thank this. -
Truckdriver402:
I would like to apologize to you for giving you incorrect advice:
It was NOT okay to post that web address. Forum rules prohibit the posting of Trucking Recruiting Sites as well as Trucking Company sites; UNLESS they are Forum Sponsors.
I have sent a PM to Forum Staff in an effort to make certain that it is understood that you acted on the basis of my incorrect advice. Obviously, I need a better understanding of Forum Rules. I am just glad you were not penalized for my error; well-intentioned though it may have been.mje Thanks this. -
Thanks, Dyno. We live and learn! I promised Bullhaulerswife it would never happen again.
I suppose from here on I will just go with the ol' "Google company X."
Well, in terms of fuel hauling, I got a paper app in the mail from Kenan Advantage (KAG) and filled it out. I scanned it and sent it back, so we will see. I have so many apps out that when people call, I often feel around to find out what company they're with so I know who it is!
I am hoping someone will take me soon! Sitting round is ok, but makes me feel about an inch tall.mje Thanks this. -
Yep! Same one. If you read my early posts about them I'd just like to say that as outlandish as my comments may seem, they are true. A friend of mine worked for them and I redefined the phrase, "Green with envy." I've never heard of any company with so many perks. But, they are extremely safety-conscious and you can forget it if you haven't got a near-spotless driving history.mje Thanks this.

They are one of the many places I applied....I hope someone picks me up soon because its driving me insane!mje Thanks this.

In the event that you are fortunate enough to be given a road test; be sure to get back to me so I can give you some extremely important tips regarding how the test is done and how it is evaluated. They are really tricky. REAL TRICKY!!!!! Good Luck! Break a leg! (can't remember anymore).

mje Thanks this.
