Would have loved to see his trailer weight.

I only had 3 hours rested last night. Thankfully I am not driving today (the wife is). So here is todays music to bring us all closer together and give thanx for the friends we have here and what family you have where ever you are. Oh and a meme that can go with today of thanx giving.

My thoights exactly... Pulled into the afore mentioned rest area 55 mins ago. Most of US26 from Ogalalla to here was clear and I was able to keep my foot in it. Just a few slick spots here and there... But the last 10 miles or so was a solid sheet of ice. I can see trucks tooling along I-25 at a goodly clip so it must not be too bad. Looks like a heavy fog may accompany the dawn though...

Time for me to go to bed.

Lol... Theres a swift driver that is parked here... He just climbed out of his truck to head over to the facilites... Wearing full Arctic gear! Huge heavy coat with fur lined hood tied up around his face, bulky snow pants, ski gloves and snow boots!!!!...

Theres 4 or 5 inches of snow, a gentle breeze, and its 20°F!!!! You would have thought it was -20 with 40 mph winds the way he was dressed... Lol

A few. Maverick’s, Pescaderos, a few other spots I won’t name. The problem as you know when it’s good.. everywhere is good. When it’s bad most everywhere is bad. If I was on a road trip I’d head south to Baja. It’s cheaper and the water gets warmer after you get south of Baja Del Los Angeles.

Well first of all it’s not easy to get much more North than Weed. LOL

California locals break the state into four parts; northern, central coast and valley, southern, and #### LA & OC.

The central coast starts at point conception technically. But Santa Barbara County gets added. Northern California starts once you get north of Sonoma/Napa.

Let me clarify something. When someone says they hate California what I hear is “I hate LA, OC, and the inland empire.” Nobody in their right mind would hate Central and Northern California. San Diego is still a jewel.

Leaving politics out of this thread is all I’ll say.
