Anything east of the Rockies is an eastern state. And all those Easterners need to stay on their side of the mountains.

I never did understand the road speed argument for shifting. Makes no sense to me . Rpms make sense but its easier to shift with my ears . when it sounds like shes ready for another gear then i feed her one. If shes startin to drop down and lug out then i know its time to take away a gear and drop down. What they teach in cdl school makes it complicated to anybody who has shifted anytype of car or equipment and understand engine sounds

I never learned any of that. When I got my CDL it was at work so I never went to a school. I took two weeks vacation to play with trucks in the yard and then out on the road with another driver

 

We call everything east of California the flyover states. I like when people call it the heartland. Ya, heartland because the brain ain’t there
