    just a quick run up north,left Tarheel tuesday mornin,whats this blue lights for me,no problem i'm good,level 3 inspection,wrote me up section#395.8 sloppy logbook? no fine,cross Va line,hello blue lites again,level 3 inspection,no violations,good job he says,be safe i say,up load of pet food,get back in truck and my dog's smiling until he sees seal,truck until 0400 north of Bay Bridge on 301 good nite.wake,write a fictional book,sun shinin,lovely truckin day,cross Delaware line and new scale,no problem green lite on dash says,talkin indian says come in trucks,no got green lite,#2 sign all trucks enter,no i got green lite screamin go on by,#3sign all trucks enter scales now,OK,shikk parkin lot full of trucks,cb's off no warning,they are smilin for me and have spoy reserved for me,level 1 inspection,shikkk guess i'll get the other 7 hours sleep now.30 minutes later no violations and yellow sticker# 11082677 for being good trucker.25 years in this busness and aint never had a yellar sticker,do i deserve it,proably not,goin give it back, not on your life

    Another mnemonic that comes in handy for remembering the Great Lakes is HOMES.

    Lake Hurron, Lake Ontario, Lake Michigan, Lake Erie, and Lake Superior.

    You get a sticker for you window. It shows the vehicle and driver passed a Level 1 inspection.

    I got a green one in Tennessee a few months ago. Same situation. Got stopped several times in a couple of weeks and the third time I said to the officer "I must have a target on me or something. This is the third time in a few weeks." He said "Why don't you have a sticker?" I said "They did level 2 and said they were out of stickers" He said "Well you know me. No level 2 here" So I got my green sticker and haven't even been stopped since then.
    My company closed down a couple of weeks ago. I should have taken my sticker with me.
