Little more progress. The visor and air cleaner are proving to be a bit of a challenge.

I see the driver's side wheel needs to be re-drawn.

As a 4th generation Florida cracker, I can say the state has totally changed due to being overrun by what my mom would call "#### yankees", which was something different then a regular ol' yankee. And yeah, growing up in the '80s we watched all the houses being built, the golf course "communities" pop up, and with it all came the all too important imports.

Thing was, it wasn't enough to just bring themselves, they wanted to bring New England, or MI, or wherever the hell they came from with them. It's sad that so much of Florida's history and culture has been washed away. They probably don't even teach any of it anymore. You look and they're doing the same thing in other states now, particularly TX.

Be nice if folks would just stay put if they like it so much where they are, rather then try to force their ways onto others.

I think for many years Sarasota county Florida and/or Manatee county held the most folk over the age of 70 anywhere in the nation

...Florida doesn’t have history. It’s almost all transplants and retirees

NorthPort / Englewood beach was all in bed by 7pm. If my generation wanted to do anything it was Orlando /Miami which was a few hours away. Or at the very least ybor City in Tampa.

I had one friend whose parents wre born and raised.

the whole state is a golf retirement community...
