No, still running the same injectors.

You bet your tail I turned around & ran right back to their shop..

I will ask about timing circle vs valve overlap procedure. I don't know which they used, or that there is more than one way for that matter..

Didn't see any fuel leaking from anywhere. You think it could be loose like sucking air.?

My only other though and Is completely speculation. If you did change injectors with cam. It rumored that some parts have been tweaked to only perform correctly when ecm is updated with DDC low Nox program. Now a outside tunner can make it work. But DDC has to be used to make it run correct stock.

I have no solid proof of this. Just passing on something I have heard. Some part combinations run fine, some won't.

I just like to check the little stuff before coming unglued.

Ask if they used the cam gear holding tool. I dont use it, and 95% of people with a brain can do it without it. But a Derlick can knock it out of time if you try hard enough.

No Timing Circle procedure was null and void by DDC pretty early. But I'm just thinking a young guy with old books might not know better.

Be calm with them. No way can I be positive in theory by discussing over a forum. Give them a shot to verify everything. I dont wanna be wrong and make you look bad.

It's hard to stay calm. The owner canned the guy who did my cam. He & his tools are already packed up & gone.. That alone makes my stomach ache..

Is there a low nox tune for ddec 2? Thought that was for ddec 3 & 4..

I've actually argued with him a bit. He said I had a ddec 3, when my model # denotes it as a 2. As per the info you posted a few days back, & my own research as well. 0124181259.jpg
    Can't remember, but I think it's the U that designates a ddec2. W is 11.1L.. Build date is 09/92.

Just making a list to remember.
    Cam gear holding tool.
    Timing circle or valve overlap.
    Loose fuel connections.
    Low nox mismatch parts.

    Thank you @jamespmack

    Always appreciate your Detroit knowledge.
Maybe next time I'll head to ohio & pay you to get it done right.
I can get my hands greasy & learn something too. LoL :)

It just sucks. You work your tail off only to have your ship sunk by lousy work..
