That's been the Liberal's solution since the '60's. They're bound 'n' determined to make it work...one of these days!

Reminds me of something a fighter jock told me in my AF days. He said every time he climbs into the ####pit, he remembers that his multi-million dollar weapon was made by the lowest bidder.

I am glad to see that not many have stereotyped all Mexican drivers because of this one. However, it does make you think how many they have NOT caught.

Yes, absolutely. This war on drugs is a waste of time and money. I would much rather have the real criminals locked up.

So you're okay with someone being under the influence of a controlled substance while driving? How about truck drivers?

I agree with you here. People on Meth and many other drugs have hallucinations, I don't want them on the road. :biggrin_2552:

No, any driver, especially a truck driver, should not be under the influence of ANYTHING while driving. But on the weekend, I don't see the difference between alcohol and drugs. Prosecute the crime. If someone steals to support their drug habit, stealing is their crime. If they are driving under the influence, driving is their crime. If they are neglecting their children because they are shooting up, that is their crime. Doing drugs should not be criminal.

I thoroughly disagree with you on this. Because anyone doing these drugs is destine to make the worst possible decision. The drugs are what removes common sense and responsibility for actions from their thoughts. Even alcohol is capable of doing that. Which is why you see so many DUI's on things other than just cars.

Anyone under the influence of any drug, had the capability of making a bad decision, and harming the general public in the process. You legalize them, and you will see more deaths, neglect, etc. in the news.
