According to my book we have a problem here....oil hole should be a 3 o'clock.....joint 20° above horizontal.

I picked this up last summer pretty cheap. It ran then but won't now. Hopefully some fresh gas and plugs will do the trick.

I swear to Christ!!!! What the hell is going on in the world!!!
This #### is getting out of hand.

I’ve been chasing a part for 3 days. Cummins says it’s an international part. International says it’s a Cummins part. Neither say it’s available. My go to parts guy says it never existed.

Yes they come with the bearings installed. Besides the notice on the page I pictured about engine damage.....all the bearings are oriented the same which puts all but the first one with the oil hole right in front of the galley that also supplies the rocker shafts.

My thinking is most of the oil will get dumped in the cam bearings and starve the rocker shaft.

Waiting on a call back from cat.

I guess I didn’t read all the pertained information. I was assuming the problem was the oil hole in the bearing didn’t line up with the oil galley?

The cam bearings have a groove around the outside that supply the oil to the two holes in each bearing.
