Some of the very wealthy conservatives I have dealt with did not care about anything but money. They treated the employees like dirt. Easy to replace, cheaper to replace. (Sounds like a trucking company).

Then again, some of the wealthy liberals I dealt with were also trained to love money and were not much better with employees.

End result, most of the rich only cared about themselves. They liked to give an air, that they cared about people, but air is all it was.

There's a lot of good wealthy folks out there so don't let people like George Soros ruin your thought of them because they're not all like that. Any rich person (like Donald Trump) that's always tooting their own horn about giving to charities etc, aren't the ones I'm talking about.

You never really hear from them but they do help make our lives better and are generous. Those people aren't out there making a show of it though to try and bolster themselves.

But at any rate, you keep voting for people like Obama, Frank, Pelosi and the like, there won't be many rich folks left (and not many jobs either) so go for it!

In our state the republican ex governor makes license plates. He will probably be joined by the last one Democrat Blagovich.

Alot of crooks out there that are wealthy as well. Bernie Madoff. In prison, but alot of ripped off people.

Voting is what makes it interesting.

One side always has it in for the other side. It makes no difference on policies.

Look at the spending the last 15 years. Show me a year that it dropped.

Quality of life was better under Bush for most working folks. I don't care how you choose to spin it, Obama was a mistake and I hope America learns from it. I hope they also figure out that they can actually vote someone out of Congress too, you know, they don't have to keep voting in the same losers over and over.

Obama didn't beam down from space. He came from Chicago in the land of the retarded 55mph speed limit. One of the first things he did was start talking about bankrupting the coal industry. Trust me, he hates us.

Obama "hates" coal because it's "dirty"...
He also "hates" American Crude because it's "sour".....

That leaves LPG to power trucks.....
The Harbor (L.A. and Long Beach) trucks as in drayage, have been replaced (or in the process of being) by LPG rigs.....

Short haul for LPG is doable...OTR rigs...I'd like to see an LPG rig climb Vail or Cabbage.....and not in two day's time either.....

While I am a lifelong Republican and in no way a fan of Obama...seriously, dude, you need to turn your Sirius radio off of the talk shows for awhile and over to one of those Easy Listening stations, or maybe the 70's Soft Rock station, or sing on the CB, or something??? :biggrin_2551: :biggrin_2554:

Sorry it sounds similar to many right wing talking points because what is said is how it is. The same message you know? Truth is what it is and it doesn't matter where you hear it or see it, you know it when you know it right?

this country wasn't made great by a bunch of pinko's and people are really stupid to fall for their fantasy talk because that's all it is is a fantasy. We're talking about human beings here and there are some simple truths that apply across the board to all.

You being from Texas, should be very scared when California says it's okay to idle the latest "clean idle" engines but Texas says you can't. Something's really wrong with that picture and it can only be explained by the infiltration of stupidity on the left.

the high ups in liberal la la land aren't stupid. They understand human nature and that is why they always tug at the heartstrings of weak people that fall for their "pickup lines" like drunken women at a night club.

Funny you accuse me of being a right wing robot yet all the liberals ever talk about is stuff they hear from their "authorities". Left can't think for themselves, at least I observe and can usually tell fact from fiction out here.

Why would trucking companies want to try and force teaming? Don't they already have a hard enough time keeping seats filled? Most truckers don't like teaming and will leave the industry in droves if they try to force the hand. I can understand the logical reason why but they know it'll never happen like these guys have implied.

I can also understand why they'd want to cut back on idle times as Government makes it awefully expensive to operate. Socialists are foaming at the mouth to get Cap n' Trade going but the trucking industry would die if that happens, at least the small timers will.

I don't care what you believe, the Government is our biggest problem and WE need to correct it before it's too late. Otherwise, enjoy being a slave because that is exactly what will happen. Just ask anyone that grew up in a Communist State because that is where we're headed if we continue down the path we're on. The writing is on the wall.

Ok, if I may say something please. Someone said something about "rich persons greed". I never saw a poor man hire anyone for a job. As far as Obama being scialist. I heard an interview when he was running for the senate. He want's to bankrupt the the health insurance companies to put in a single payer system. All that will do is give him and the Dems more power, hence socialism. I personally beleave that cap and trade is so the dems can take control of the trucking industry. Some may think that that is crazy talk or being paranoid, but think about it. they have taken control of GM and Chrystler, the banks and now they are working on our medical care. if they tak control of the trucking industry they own the country. without trucks this country would come to a grinding halt within a week. if they own it they own commerse and how our goods get transported in America.
