Anyone else ever driven a 7 speed? They kinda suck, they don't shift smoothly at all and are a ##### to downshift. After being in one of these for a while a 10 speed feels like an automatic.

Driven a 6 speed but not in a truck . used to drive an old john deere teactor that was a 4 speed plus a 4 speed auxilery transmission. Essentialy 16 speeds. Clutch was so stiff had to stand on the pedal with full weight and there was no fuel pedal. Just a clutch and a lever to increase rpms lol man i love that old equipment

Computers are down company wide. Have been for hours.....looks like I'll be here for hours more from what I was told. No road drivers can leave because they can't get their paperwork or tablets. This is gonna get ugly because the bulk guys will be showing up in about a half hour looking to leave.

I had to as the first truck I learned to drive on was a worn out Yellow Freight truck. It had a seven speed in it. They arent bad once you get the shift point correct. Some trucks require a greater fall off point with the rpms.

So while we were all there doing nothing we were lunch countering it up with all the dumb crap we have done over the years. Best one I heard was dude was training a guy about 10 years ago and when they backed up to the dock the trainee pulled the fifth wheel, then the checker on the door told them they had to move. When he pulled off the door he made it 50 feet turned and dropped the trailer. He said the air lines were stretched out like 15' and when he unhooked the first one it shot back thru the back window of the BRAND NEW truck. He said everyone was at the door watching this go down and all he could here was oooooohhhhhhhh from everyone lol.

This is pretty blatant. I think his motive is deviant sexual.

I think the FBI did good to arrest. Its really difficult to have a minor child with you who is not blood relation in trucking. I took some of my nephews for rides in my Semi a few times when possible and Daddy (My brother) would be right there enjoying the ride. Nothing but good quality family time.

I think this driver who wrote in that style and manner has issues. If he is bored without children while driving then that there is the lynch pin of the entire everything with that note. No wonder the people called it in.
