Good Morning:
I have a T270 carrier - roll back I'm trying to learn how to change the amount of air in the rear suspension. It rides very rough like the air bags have as much air in them as they can hold. It also feels like there is no travel left because they seem overinflated.
Is there adjustment in the leveling valve? I thought the shaft was square allowing only 4 differing positions for mounting that valve?
I drive another T270 that is 6 years older also with air ride suspension that rides much smoother.
Air Suspension Overinflated?

Can you get a pic, there are a lot of different leveling valves out there.

People need to start understanding that you CANNOT just dump air from a suspension in the hopes it will make the ride softer. Air suspensions are self-leveling, meaning they will have as much air in them as required to maintain that height. If your ride height is in spec, leave it alone. You'll have a nightmare of a time trying to get your driveshaft angles right.
