Smart cruise will accelerate and decelerate with traffic without any input from me. It will also come to a complete stop by itself if traffic stops.
I'd say smart beams work out very well about 95% of the time. I wasn't expecting them to work that well. It usually ignores the reflecting signs and only dims when it senses tail lights and head lights.
Showing off my new ride!

You use a ball tower with the correct size ball for what you are hauling. Just like hooking to a tow vehicle. Hook the winch cable to the ball tower and yank it on the trailer. Strap the wheels and hammer down. These little ones you just push 'em off. Bigger ones will also roll off, I just air up my bags a little more to incress the angle of the trailer. The trailer has a dove tail in the back, when the trailer hits that they roll off by them selves.Lite bug and 24kHotshot Thank this.

Shipshewanna or Kann Manufacturing makes those low-pro trailers the RV guys use. Dan's Hitch in Elkhart has a Kann unit asking $29k for it. Nice looking trailer. Those seem like the most versatile for little trucks but more money. Boats and RV's are possible as well as sprinter vans or regular size cars. With a car trailer all you can do is cars mostly, but the trailer is cheaper.Lite bug Thanks this.

Those are Holland I am pretty sure.

That's a nice trailer, can that fit 3 trucks/vans as well? Who makes that one if you don't mind?
My perfect trailer would be one like that with the low neck over the truck, but set up as a flat deck with the trailer rail sunk in.
(edit wait, is that not a 5th wheel? Is that front trailer on the truck and that's a bumper pull?) I'ts hard to tell at that angle. -
That’s a 5th wheel 53ft Shipshewanna trailer. All 5 are on it. It’s an ultra low profile roll off trailer (17.5” rubber) but raises up in the front to clear the truck frame

Yeah I like those low profile set ups. I don't understand why more trailer companies don't make them. It turns them into mini step decks and if you did it to a normal 40ft flat deck it would expand it's usage into being able to haul 3 vehicles or freight or with a trailer rail you could haul the trailers as well.. Then add air ride that you can dump to lower the rear to load them easier..
Would be a very versatile set up.
