Nope I wouldn't have been happy with a nasty truck or my pay getting shorted, I don't know why you would think that. Its just that everyone dosnt have as sorry a luck as you seem to have no matter where ever you go. My 2nd truck was an 09 Prostar with 27 miles on it, had to take the plastic off the seats. Had that truck til I started training got another 09 that had 92,000 on it. My pay is not short and I make good money, which again proves my point.....based on your experience you can't say it is all bad for everyone else or just because someone is happy here that they must be a slob who likes riding in filth, so you keep on sitting at your awesome company your with now running 800 mls a week and I'll keep on being successful watching my deposits roll in every Monday. Sounds like the company your with now should be the one you're warning everyone against. Well you probably will be in another week or two when they have wronged you as well.....

You have been driving for "ONE" year and already training someone else? Well, aren't you the lucky one. Two new 09 ProStars in one year. Your related to WHO?

If you think USA TRUCK is a good company to drive for then you have never
driven for a good company. They dont maintain their equipment and have one
of the worst saftey records in the trucking industry.Just look up the true facts
on the SAFESTAT website from the Federal DOT.The only way this company can
stay in business is by constantly hiring trainees to drive its trucks. The reason why
they have such low profits is because of all the lawsuits they have to pay off.

I've talked to 2 drivers at my local Intl dealer when they were in for service work. The first driver's truck broke down last january when the HIGH temp in Minneapolis was -8 below. They WOULD NOT get him a hotel. He had to sleep inside the truck overnight with no heat until the dealer opened at 7am. This driver also told me how when he would go to certain USA service shops they would steal his new tires that the previous shop put, only to put on poor tires and keep the good ones. Both drivers were also not getting the miles that were promsied to them. Again this is what they were telling me. I was at the shop though when the first driver woke up in his sleeper in the below zero temps. Good company huh?

Not related to anyone there. Its like I've said in many other post, 99% of your happiness will depend on the relationship you have with your FM. Even you have stated that. As far as some of the other post I've continually said that USA has problems like a lot of other places, but that they work out fine for me and others. I can't say they're the best, and I can't say they're the worst cause I have not worked for others. More importantly I have no desire to work for another company. It works for me, why would I want to change that? For those it doesn't work for that's understandable and in some cases they were treated inexcusable, but even at that to come on here having never worked for anyone else and claim USA to be the worst is ignorant. Or even if you've worked several places still to come on based soley on your experience and start claiming "worst of the worst" "you'll starve to death" just because you did is stupid. Just like me saying because I'm making it good you will is stupid. That's all I'm trying to say.

OK, I can live with that. You are right and I didn't mean to imply that USA is the "Worst", I can think of a few other companies that would give them a run for their money but let's not debate that at this time. Good luck in your driving career and don't let any students kill you. I'm sure you have heard the stories, they are true, I was there.

Ahh,give me more credit than that.... I don't leave them for atleast the first week because we run the same 14hr clock, someone is always in the right seat. When they switch us to team I don't sleep as much because I'm constantly checking on them. I know I don't have 30yrs of experience but what time I do have is accident/incident free, no violations, passed any DOT insp I've ever been given(3) lol...which is more than a lot of ppl with my experiance or lack there of can say, so I figure if I can atleast give them the same start in this industry as I've had then that's better than a lot will get. As far as the money goes.....I'm more concerned about putting another driver on the same roads with my family that is likely to not kill them.

It's hard for drivers to believe that USA Truck could be turning a corner = getting rid of the older Int 9200 and even moving up to APUs.

-one day this could be a real trucking company.

(my company won't buy APUs -yet)
