I would steer clear of Johnson Feed Inc out of South Dakota... before I explain why I did work there twice and I enjoyed the miles since they were consistent. What I did not enjoy was being secretly recorded 24/7 while in bunk, with gf, you name it. They have their mechanics install extras listening devices through the entire truck on top of the entire safety and dispatchers having a code to login to your drive cam at anytime and “live” watch you. This isn’t an assumption this is confirmed and also the exact reason I quit. Well besides the fact that they have low pay.
I would also stay away from Meiborg Brothers out of Rockford, Illinois. They don’t have good miles, will play the phone game when you’re trying to get answers about your money, time off, etc. They’re not the worst company, but I would only recommend them if you’re new to trucking otherwise they’re not even worth a phone call. Their lies start once you speak to recruiter and they’ll never stop after that. Just my honest experience.
Two companies that I’d stay away from....

One can wonder if there’s a lawsuit waiting to happen if your off the clock cameras shouldn’t be accessible. Talk to an attorney.

So what lies did Meiborg tell?

Heres another confirmation of them illegally using their drive cameras. Matt said hey let’s do a driver review since your here... sit down next to his computer and he clicked my truck number.... he forgot he had the audio rolling also and what do you know I hear ever word I was singing in the truck and why did he hurry up and press pause then say “you’re good, we don’t need a review” wtf I made that up also right.

Take it or leave it it’s the truth. I felt stupid about bragging about them for the entire time I worked there then to find out they were doing that... talk about feeing betrayed and stupid all at once lol. Troy, the lying recruiter had the nerve to kindly offer me another driving position months after I quit... well until I informed him I knew what they were doing lol. Maybe they’ll be honest if you call and ask them if they have listening devices in their trucks. Call and ask.
