The hit television show, "Wife Swap," is looking for female truck drivers (and their families!) to participate on an upcoming episode of the show. We are hoping to feature Moms in non-traditional jobs, and thought the trucking industry would be a great place to start. This can be a great opportunity to break down stereotypes and allow a special family to share their lifestyle with another household and the rest of the country.
To qualify for the show, families must:
Families chosen for the show receive $20,000 for their participation, and if you refer a family that gets chosen for the show you will receive a $1,000 finders fee!
- Consist of two parents (not necessarily married)
- Have at least one child between the ages of 5-17 living full time in the home
- Not be an active military family (due to security restrictions)
For more information, to obtain an application or refer a family, please contact the Casting Producer at (646) 747 7958.

So do they ride with her in the truck or something? Wait, she's swapping with the other wife, so the other wife is driving her truck? We're never home, how do you film it? lol.

simplyred1962 Betty Boop, One Bodacious Babe!!!
I've watched this show, and it can get very funny, at times.
Wife A, goes to live for two weeks with Family B
Wife B, goes to live with Family A
The first week, the "wife" has to abide by that family's rules and life-style.
The second week, the "wife" gets to change the rules and life-style to HER way.
At the end of the two weeks, each family is awarded $50,000.
The "Catch"? The surrogate "wife", gets to dictate how the other family must spend the money.

P.S. Logistically, I just don't know how they are going to be able to film, in the cab of a truck??

Oh Man !!! If they think for 1 minute that I would let somebody else drive "RUBY" then they need to have their Frick`n heads read !!!! And I agree with you Red, it would be a nitemare. No Doubt.

Other wife doesn't have a CDL. How would she do our job, for them to tape it for a show?

Is this a new standard ??
