Looking for position with more hometime out of Houston, TX

Saw the Suez job yesterday, unfortunately I don't yet have enough experience as i've only been driving for about a year overall. I may go ahead and apply nevertheless as I also applied for the Air Products jobs which require 3 years experience.

Applied for the SEFL job. Went to the terminal to try and speak with the TM (....wasn't able to...) but was told that they are basically taking applications for that position but will only start reviewing/hiring for March. Went to ODFL, was told again they are not hiring and the person i spoke to said they had actually recently had layoffs.

Don't qualify for Walmart yet experience-wise but will keep that in mind.

Thanks for the further insights on the other companies as well. I'm definitely taking my time and doing my research as I don't wanna jump around from job to job.

Can't currently see any openings at Estes online. Will visit their terminal my next home time.

Applied for the SAIA opening in LineHaul position. Checking Averitt and AAA Cooper. Southwestern freight doesn't have any openings in Houston currently for LineHaul.

I'm applying with that same thought...if they are desperate...maybe they can waive the experience requirement.

Will check out Mamoet and Barnhart while i'm down there. I have a clean MVR and no issues with drugs/drug tests.
