ey guys! I carved myself a small position with a really good company that I'd like to help grow. A much bigger company than the one I originally posted about when I first joined the forum.

Basically I'm a new broker/salesman, trying to increase their customer base. The CEO believes I can bring some business to the company and I'm getting on it. Mainly I'm looking for companies who will have various types of freight (reefer, LTL included) sent cross-country.

Other than doing my research on the company, what they offer, pricing, etc, do you guys have any advice?

I've been out of a school for a few months and I'm trying to make the best of this rare opportunity (unemployment rate in CA is 11.6%!). Thank you!

    No, commission only.

I'm excited though. This is a lot more challenging than your typical desk job. Plus I'll know I'm making a difference with good work I do--I wont be just another pencil pusher, card puncher, etc.

Once my sales skills improve, I will move on up or do my own thing!
