now there gonna put a new floor mat in my truck where the water was leaking between the mat and floor. mold had started to set in and replacement was all they could do. due to the health hazard. so that has to be flown in cause it was not in stock at the local dealer. sso i guess i got a couple more days at home waiting. i need to have a competion with brickman to see who waits the longest. the winner will get the coveted golden central rocking chair............................

Well I had an eventfull day, I was at my 99 location and had checked in, came back out to the truck and fuel was gushing out of my right tank.

    Fire department, hazmat crew, mechanic.

Turns out the transfer hose connector had broken.

Could anyone give me a little bit of insight regarding Central's detention pay? Do they pay when you have to sit & wait for any period of time?

Yep they do pay detention! Detention starts 2 hrs after your appointment time and I think for a company driver its $15.00 an hr.

I finally got things worked out with my recruiter and am planning to start training on 8/24. Although I am pretty excited about the opportunity, after reading all the info provided on this post and others, I am also pretty nervous. I want to be successful and make the most out of the opportunity. I am willing to do the work so I hope I get a trainer who is willing to train. I am willing to pay my dues so I guess we'll see how it all turns out over time.

We are all a bit Jaded right now lol!

Central does have some good trainers!

They also have some that suck:biggrin_2554: If you feel that you aren't being trained properly let the training department know.
