I moved my fixed fifth wheel 6" and now when I tighten the saddle down the plate is really stiff.
Checked for rocking when loose no rock, tighten three bolts on the right side and it is stiff?

Are you sure you don't have scaling built up under the saddle? Certain you drilled the new holes exactly right?
-
Not sure what is going on, I am going to pull it of in the AM. Think I will make some shims maybe 14 gauge ? The frame and the angles are even?

For what it's worth when I slid mine back a foot I had the same issue. Pulled it back off and beat all the rust and scaling off with a needle gun, bolted it back down and the plate started pivoting like normal again.

Thanks,
I will give it a try, -
Try this. Has worked lots of times.
Loosen all bolts back up. Tighten in criss cross type pattern in four different torque stages.
1) hand tight to set bolt holes.
2)50 ftlbs
3) 100
4) 160
Rock table after each bolt to seat in. -
