Well unfortunately, I have an AT&T aircard that is good only in the big cities. Giving serious thoughts to getting a Vuecube or whatever they are tho. The portable dish seems like to much of a problem with having to adjust the azmuth and declination and all that. I'm kind of a simple and easy type of guy and am almost willing to pay for the ease.

    The Challenger Thanks this.

And thats a problem? I understand that you can even get internet connection thru sat. so that could be an easy way to stay online for you and your business. By the type of dish that automactically tracks the sat. and BAM, business as usual whenever.

google directv lawsuits and directv complaints.

    consumer affairs and ripoff reports.

i can personally vouch for the stories. and this not happend once, but twice. first time i had service 7 years. this most recent time has been 4 years. i've been disputing for 20 months now. paid the bill not once but THREE TIMES. and now not one person can find the account to take it off my credit. so i've sent all the papers showing a zero balance and payments processed 3 times to the credit agencies. hopefully the dispute will get it off.

Too bad there is no room for a mobile sat dish on most of the trucks out there, I love it on my grandparents RV (a 1998 Country Coach Prevost 45' w/ a Detroit S60 470 and Allison World 6-Speed Automatic)

He is talking about the vue cube thingy and having it mounted near the squawkcom. I can't see him getting enough rest with Direct TV as he loves watching TV, Me I couldn't give a ####te if I didn't see it for a year.

Jess, I figured it was the vuecube. I know it is popular among them as I see it all the time. If its a lease truck the o/o will mount it to the right or move the qualcomm over and mount it in the center.

Oh Jess, that is just so unamerican!!!! We have become a country of couch potatoes and if you expect to fit in..........:biggrin_255:

They have 3 types of vue cubes now and the most expensive one (duh) will track the sat so that you can watch as your moving down the road. For those of us who are company drivers and are not allowed to drill holes for brackets, there is now a tape that can be used to mount it with. Look for it in the electronics section of this forum.
