Well that would mean removing Pot from Schedule One DEA and transferring it to FDA regulations. Im already working on CBD product as a experiement which is proven to be THC free in my last month's drug test or we all go to jail. (Clinic staff and I) because pot is still a schedule one.

I don't know. That product for me is like a small lotion for palsy related to wear and tear of trucking and before all of that miracles its assumed that old drivers are shaky drivers in old age due to the old iron that is hard on the body over many years.

Not to mention going from drugs say no 45 years ago in school to drugs are legal... and spreading like a weed ...//bad pun... its mind bending. Growing up we did without unless bad sick and called the doc to the house. He would have with him certain medicines and dispensed on the spot as needed or in medical terms PRN. Today you wont find that.

In the 40's my father and uncles were children, if they had trouble breathing with stopped up noses etc they prescribed a form of cocaine applied into the nose. Opens them right up. Fast forward today they don't do that anymore.

Funny how to “produce results” they continue to go 180 degrees in the wrong direction. Truck drivers are involved in 1-3% of the accidents here in the US!!!! Buckle down on the motoring public, quit giving CDLs and DL’s out like Mardi Gras beads, and quit crippling people’s common sense with more dumbed down “safety features”. At this point I wouldn’t care if truckers smoked weed or not. That’s all these drug tests are catching anyways. Very rarely will you catch meth, heroin, or crack/cocaine because the half life is too short.

so pretty much it’s a war against an herb. Better the herb than a 1/5 of Jack Daniels. Whatever, it’s all foolishness, self righteous, usually unhealthy people hooked on medication drugs pointing their finger at people who do weed.

Raise the skill, raise the awareness, hold people accountable for their driving and distracted driving, and that’s it. Quit putting band aids on bullet wounds. You tell me that a 400 lb truck driver, who can’t even fit under his his truck to inspect his brakes, lines, and steering and doesn’t know what type of motor he has, is more safe than an on point owner operator who smokes weed on his off time??? Idiocracy!!!! But that’s how this works.

2 years and fmcsa hasn’t passed nothing to help trucking, especially owner ops, admits that the csa system doesn’t even predict crash probability, promises to fix the skewed ratios against small trucking companies by October 19, doesn’t, and comes out enforcing and building a whole web portal for drug clearinghouse ??? Though it passed years ago, but this is it? Continue to make criminal truckers. Boy, the last 20 years truckers have been historically soft pushovers. Meth, crack, painkillers, Xanax, all that should be always on the radar. But drug testing really doesn’t catch that stuff. It only stays in the system a couple days. But instead of weed, they’d rather us drink our liver gone, smoke tobacco/nicotine our lungs gone, sugar ourselves into obesity and diabetes and fried food ourselves to cancer.

So yea, big step! So proud of our “safety” culture out here.

That's 10,000 positives tests though. Not 10,000 drivers testing positive. After a few high profile wrecks this year and finding how many times they failed a drug test, I would not be surprised if that translated to 5,000 drivers getting poped hot multiple times....

I can see CBD raising that level also.

People are already losing their jobs over cbd.

    Agreed.

I cannot really explain the drug test panel they submit me to, but it's near 800 dollars and checks as explained to me down to the molecules so if I ever did anything going back a fixed time frame they will find it. It is also not for enforcement against me but also to check for bad things indicating liver, heart, kidney failures etc that are pending.

Im not afraid of those tests. However the doctor has been good to me. But he will know right away if my body is not working right and we will go from there.

I can literally piss on a standard dot 5 or 7 panel and not worry about it. Now the hair is something else, and it will be out of my hair in a time.

CBD is very dangerous because some people who process it has had male pot plants pollenate their female plants that are reduced and processed to CBD oil and there is too much THC in them. Someone goes to buy it and poof they piss hot for Pot. And wonder wtf happened. And that points back to my clinic when they send my samples for drug testing, they are indeed hunting for thc in my own system. So the CBD product I bought from them better not have it in there.

I don’t smoke pot. The last time I did was 20+yrs ago. I did go to a concert and there were PLENTY of people getting high. I say more power to them. Soooo now that means I will fail a hair follicle test? Hahahaha that’s such crap.
